This is a question I get asked quite regularly. Its also a question that I love to get asked. By asking this question it means that you are doing your homework and researching who is a trusted business and practitioner. This isn’t something that should be done on a whim. Careful consideration should be taken. After all, we’ve all seen the horror pictures on line which are really damaging for this amazing industry.
I have found that in general once people have decided that they want to go ahead and have the treatment then they want it done as soon as possible. This is of course fine however, there are three things that I always recommend you do before going ahead….
There are many things that you should consider. Some of which may seem very obvious but surprisingly people fail to give thought to. Things such as….
Do you have insurance and do you have a personal and premises licence to carry out this treatment? These are really important questions that people fail to ask.
However, when considering the quality of work the three main things to consider are as follows….
This will give you an idea of the style of the practitioners work as well as the quality. Also, you should be able to grasp an idea of how many treatments the practitioner has completed. With this treatment as with anything, experience is a key ingredient to getting good results.
2. Do you have client reviews from people who you have treated? Would you be willing for me to speak with your clients?
Again this will give you a good indication of how many treatments the practitioner has carried out. Also it can be really good to see what people are saying about them.
3. Meet the practitioner who will be doing the treatment.
You don’t want to speak with sales reps and only get to meet the person who will be doing the treatment on the day of the treatment. Its fine to speak with sales people initially. However, you should meet the person who will be doing the treatment and I always say TRUST YOUR GUT!!!!!
If it doesn’t feel right then it probably isn’t.
Should you want to learn more then don’t hesitate to get in touch. I can arrange an initial consultation via Facetime, Zoom, Skype or any other social media. Alternatively, we can arrange a face to face consultation at my clinic in Wigan.
