Its one of the most common questions I get asked. How should I look after my skin post treatment?
There are many answers to this question and it will vary depending upon who you are speaking to. For example, someone within the medical industry would more than likely advise you to use a medical cream or lotion. The type of thing that you would buy over the counter at the pharmacy.
However, someone who sells a product as part of a larger company. Maybe you know the company’s I mean? The ones who do door to door selling or ask you to join something that looks like a pyramid type set up. Well they would obviously recommend you buying their products.
Both these would be perfectly explainable in terms of how great they are. Anyone can sell anything to anyone if they want to, but is it ethical?
I’m an old fashioned kind of guy. The more a read about different products the more times I come back to the same old answer.
Mother Nature put everything we needed to survive here on this planet for us to, well, survive. She didn’t put a huge manufacturing plant here so that we could add all sorts of chemicals to natural products so they smell nice or last longer. No, she gave us everything we needed in the form of plants and the ocean and the sky.
Therfore, my recommendation is always to try and buy a product that is 99% organic and natural.
Personally I use an organic Almond oil on my skin and my beard and I love the stuff. I also use a beeswax based healing cream on my clients post treatment that a lot of people then start to use as part of their daily moisturiser. This is as a result of trying it after the treatment and loving the results they have.
Sometimes these products can cost a few pence more but like I always say, buy cheap, buy twice.
